Privacy policy

chicodori d’ASH (the “Site”) handles personal information and information about your use of the Site as described below, so that you can enjoy its content with confidence.

Information we collect and why

Our contact form collects your name, email address, enquiry category and message. We use this information to answer questions, investigate and correct bugs or errors in materials, consider suggestions, improve the Site and its content, and keep a record of our responses.

Please do not enter information that is unnecessary for your enquiry, such as your address, phone number, school name or passwords. We will not publish your message or personally identifying information on the Site or social media without your consent.

Sending, receiving and storing email

We use Google’s Gmail to send and receive enquiries and notifications needed to operate the Site. Information entered in the contact form is therefore also processed by Google’s services as needed to send, receive and store email.

WordPress stores email logs, including recipients, subjects, message bodies and sending results, to check delivery and investigate problems. These logs are normally set to be deleted automatically after 14 days. Email in Gmail is kept for as long as needed to respond to enquiries and check past correspondence. Information that is no longer needed is deleted appropriately.

Analytics and access logs

We use WP Statistics to understand how the Site is used and improve its content. Statistics include pages visited, access dates and times, referrers, and browser and device information. IP anonymisation and hashing are enabled in WP Statistics.

The server may also record IP addresses, access dates and times, requested URLs and browser information in access logs for stable operation and investigation of unauthorised access. We do not combine these logs with contact information for advertising.

Cookies and storage on your device

The Site uses cookies for purposes such as maintaining login status. Some games and learning tools may also store settings or progress in your browser.

You can delete or restrict cookies and locally stored data through your browser settings. Doing so may make some features unavailable or remove saved settings and progress.

External services and embedded content

When a page embeds video, music or other content from an external service, displaying or playing it may send the page URL, IP address and device information to that service, and cookies or similar technologies may be used. Please check each service’s policy for information about its handling of information, including when following links to external sites.

Spam prevention (Google reCAPTCHA)

We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to prevent automated abuse of our contact form. Google may receive and process information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and activity on the Site to carry out its assessment.

reCAPTCHA is subject to theGoogle Privacy PolicyandGoogle Terms of Service.

Advertising (planned)

As of 16 October 2026, the Site does not display advertising through Google AdSense. If advertising is introduced, this page will be updated to describe the advertising provider, the collection and use of information through cookies or similar technologies, and how to change advertising settings, in line with the actual configuration.

Managing information and sharing it with others

We handle collected information only as needed for the stated purposes and endeavour to manage it appropriately to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure and loss. When processing is entrusted to an external service as needed for operations, we review that service’s information practices before using it.

We do not provide personal information to third parties except with your consent, where required by law, or in comparable circumstances. External services used for email and other operations are described above.

Requests to access, correct or delete information

To request confirmation of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, deletion or suspension of the use of your personal information, please contact us through thecontact form. We will verify your identity to the extent necessary and respond in accordance with applicable law.

Please send only the information needed to answer your enquiry. If you are unsure about entering personal information, check with a parent or guardian.
