ABOUT THIS GAME
How to play
Connect countries with their regions.
Practise 48 countries in two modes. Open Choose regions to select two to six regions. Both questions and choices stay within your selection. Start with country → region, then try region → country. With three or more regions you can choose two or three answer options; with two regions you get two options. Each ten-question round includes every selected region.
After choosing, check the answer and a short explanation. Changing the region selection, mode or number of choices starts a new round. Your region selection stays the same when you switch modes. After ten questions, revisit up to two mistakes. The results screen waits for you to press Next 10 questions. There is no time limit.
This game uses the six-region grouping taught in Japanese geography: Asia, Europe, Africa, North America, South America and Oceania. It omits transcontinental countries. Europe is not the same as the European Union: the United Kingdom and Switzerland are in Europe.
Say the country and its region together. When you feel ready, find each country in an atlas.
